Jackson School Home Owners Association

Jackson School Homeowners Association (JSHOA) is composed of 568 homeowners and an active HOA.   The initial development, which began in the early 1980’s, included homes featured as “The Street of Dreams”.   The latest phase of homes known as Jackson Woods was built in 2001.  The community features 2 swimming pools, 2 tennis courts and a ’Schoolhouse’ (clubhouse) which is available for rent by the homeowners.   The community also features many walking paths and a nature park with many park trails.  Other amenities which add to the enjoyment of living here are the many planned activities throughout the year such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Community Garage Sale, Summer Programs, Community BBQ and Holiday Hayrides.   The Jackson School neighborhood is one of the most coveted median-valued homes in Washington County with extremely low monthly dues compared to other communities with similar amenities and the community has an active board that protects the value and safety of the neighborhood without going to the extreme of controlling trivial details of home ownership.  The neighborhood also feeds into one of the most widely respected elementary schools in the area, Jackson Elementary which is in walking distance of pretty much the entire community as is Evergreen Middle School and Glencoe High School.
